1.0 Why you should consider becoming one our featured employers.
1.1 If you find you are regularly advertising on our website, it may pay you to join our exclusive list of featured employers.
1.2 Any business signing up to become a featured advertiser will be able to place an unlimited number of adverts on their respective regional website during the subscription period.
1.3 You will be more likely to attract the best candidates by show-casing your business.

You submit your own text copy and images, and we will put together a micro or mini website that will serve to highlight your business to job searchers.

Subject to availability, it is possible to reserve a featured advertiser slot (just like the ones on the left) on our individual regional (BH, SO or PO) websites.

When job seekers click on your featured employer's icon, they will have access to the additional information you wish them to have to make sure they approach you over the competition.
1.4 Any visitor browsing through your micro or mini website, can access an exclusive list of all of your current vacancies with just one mouse click. Why let the best candidates be tempted away by the vacancies your competition may be offering?
2.0 Costs
2.1 The monthly cost of being a featured advertiser starts at £600+VAT(£705.00) per region.

The order in which the list of featured advertisers appears is generated on a purely random basis to give everyone an opportunity to appear at the top of the list.

The cost of joining the featured advertisers who value appearing on the Home landing page (the page with the regional map you always visit when you first come to the site) is £1,000+VAT per month.

When you consider that it can cost the same amount to put just one decent sized advert in the paper, being a featured advertiser represents fantastic value. Especially when you consider the level of regional radio advertising we undertake to drive people to our website.
2.2 The micro-website can be expanded to create a full-blown mini-website. Our web-development partners Vibe New Media will be pleased to liaise through us, and attend your offices to collect the information and images required to build your own impressive mini-website to match any of the examples you see on display to the left.

Most of the featured examples to the left, were built within a few days of receiving instructions. So you can see we can react quickly and effectively to meet your requirements on demand.

Web development and concept design costs vary from client to client, and we will be pleased to quote on a case by case basis. Be assured they are surprisingly reasonable.

3.0 Terms and conditions
3.1 In addition to our normal advertising terms and conditions, the following also apply in respect of becoming a featured employer.
4.0 Timetable
4.1 The featured employer's facility is provided on a calendar month contract basis.
4.2 The service will be visible from midnight on the first day of the month, to midnight of the last day of the following month during the special offer period.
4.3 It is possible to agree a starting date earlier in the month. Charges will be pro-rated as required.
4.4 Your finalised and proof-read text copy and images must be submitted by email to the SOjobs.com editor at least 10 working days before the start of your campaign period.
4.5 Any changes you request to the text or imagery after your final submission, will incur a minimum charge of £50+VAT per hour on each occasion. We will of course correct any of our own errors or omissions without further charge.
4.6 Payment in full must be received at least five working days before the date of publication.
4.7 You will be notified of the date you can begin posting your adverts to the site.

This will be at least four working days before the date of commencement.

All the adverts you post into the system will automatically appear in the general job pool. On the commencement date, you will be able to import all of the current general pool adverts into your featured employer's list. Your adverts will then appear in both listings and will continue to run for their full seven days from this new date.
4.8 Any current adverts remaining at the end of your campaign will run the remainder of their seven days in the normal way within the general pool.
4.9 You can renew your featured employers status at any time. To ensure continuity from one month to another, however, your request to renew should be received no later than two working days before the end of the month in which the service is due to expire.
5.0 Featured Advertiser's Website - Content and format
5.1 SOjobs.com will retain full editorial control over the text and imagery to be displayed on your micro or mini website. You will be responsible for ensuring you have copyright to the material supplied to us for inclusion on your new micro or mini website.
5.2 The micro-website (starting at £600+VAT) will be limited to a single page of text and images. We will also incorporate your logo and attempt to match a sympathetic look and feel to your existing website. We will be pleased to provide a direct link through to your own website as required.
5.3 The mini-website will follow a basic page format consisting of the following pages and contents:

1. Home Page. Flexible format to include up to three images and 100 words.
2. About Us Page. Flexible format to include one image and up to 500 words.
3. Vacancies Page. Fixed format listing.
4. Contact Us page. Fixed format.
5. Location page. Flexible format to include one image and up to 100 words.

We will be pleased to discuss any requests to extend the content of your new mini-website beyond these limits.
5.4 The text you wish us to include must be supplied in electronic format, either as an MS Word, HTML, or text file. It must be presented to us in its final form, having been proof-read and spell checked. Any changes you require us to make to the submitted text will always incur a minimum charge of £50+VAT.
5.5 All the images you wish us to include, must be supplied in electronic format in one of the common formats such as JPEG or GIF. The final images will be converted to an appropriate size for inclusion in your new website.
5.6 We will be pleased to create a sympathetic look and feel to any existing website, including incorporate your logo and using your corporate colours.

We will also be pleased to undertake new concept design work to create a truly stunning micro or mini website. Costs will be negotiated and advised in advance of work commencing.
