CNC Turner
The client is currently looking to recruit a CNC Turner to
work in their busy machining shop. Our client offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits for the right candidate. You will have a good engineering background from General engineering including turning and tool-making, ideally in Aerospace, Automotive or Motorsport. You will be experienced in working on Small batch sizes, sometimes complex components. You will have at least 2 years CNC programming experience. Work will be Mon - Friday days overtime after 40 hours (normally 55 hours per week worked)

Sub-contract manufacturer based in Basingstoke is looking to compliment their workforce with 2 x Electro-mechanical assemblers due to increased workload. You will be working a standard 37hr week based on a shift system (typical shifts being 6-2 and 2-10) in addition to your hourly rate you will receive a shift premium and also an enhanced overtime rate. You must have previous experience of component assembly and be able to read drawings.

Goods Inwards Inspector
Main Tasks:
Inspection and measurement of components and products to ensure they conform to drawing and purchase requirements.
Allocation of part No and Qty via computer system. Identification and quarantine of non conforming parts. Feedback to, and liaison with the purchasing & engineering departments & external suppliers on non conformities.
Requirement:
The ideal candidate should have 2 years experience with an engineering company and be conversant with technical drawings and measuring devices.
Knowledge of metal fabrication and finishing is desirable.
Some inspection may be at suppliers premises, therefore valid driving licence is required.
Some knowledge of tolerancing and capability preferred.
An initiative in investigating quality problems together with good communication skills are essential for the role.

to be able to use standard measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, optical projector, height gauge etc
