Consistently growing the revenue and achieving the targets as set out in the Freight Account Manager Scheme.
Achieving sales productivity and revenue targets as set out in the Freight Account Manager Scheme.
Maximising all revenue opportunities from existing customers by proactively pursuing undeveloped areas.
Generating new prospect leads and new accounts over the telephone and face-to-face.
Generating new prospect leads for the Contact Management System using external sources.
Processing consignments and enter telesales information on to the Contact Management System.
Monitoring consignments ensuring that the highest levels of service are carried out at every stage.

Ensuring all relevant sales and purchase ledger invoices within the Freight Account Manager's remit are processed on time.
Preparing weekly/monthly figures of sales activity as instructed by the Branch Manager.
Providing a high level of internal and external customer care.

You will have proven competencies in the following:

Covering for Senior Account Managers when they are out of the office in terms of email inbox, telephone and any other tasks that are required
Preparing sales quotations
Processing sales orders
Liaising with client base
Preparation of customer proposals & support documentation by way of printing, binding, sending etc
Quoting customer renewals for products and services, managing & maintaining the internal database of renewals
Chasing back order items and updating clients (or Senior Account Manager where required)
Ensuring the companies CRM system is populated as required
Attending manufacturer training either on or off-site as required
Any other supportive task as required by Senior Account Managers & Sales Director
